About the Machine

AccurShear 850012 Shear – 1/2″ mild steel, 12′

The American-built Accurshear combines simplicity with a robust, proven design. This heavy-duty shear handles any application, with models ranging from 10 gauge x 6 ft to 1” x 20 ft.

The High Capacity Accurshear boasts extended lengths, oversized components, and powerful shearing capabilities. These machines are tough and durable, capable of cutting up to 1″ steel plates by 20 ft.

Ultra Heavy Frame Structure
The Accurshear features a fully welded boxed-in bed table structure with high torsion stiffness to balance cutting force torsion loads. Its unique design and maximum rigidity, combined with the table design, ensure consistent blade clearance throughout the shearing cycle.
Quality Blades
The Accurshear utilizes top-quality shear blades, specially engineered to reduce the need for re-sharpening. Depending on the shear capacity, it employs high carbon, high chrome, or high carbon/shock-resisting blades to shear a diverse range of metals.
Manual Gap Adjustment
On Accurshear models 62506 through 650012, blade clearance is manually adjusted via a hand lever on the machine's side, easily rotated to match the metal gauge. The 6135 Series model features a fixed blade setting, while models 650014 and larger have a powered system, controlled by a selector switch on the front console.
Squaring Arm
A 4' squaring arm, equipped with a steel rule marked in 1/16" and 1 mm increments, is positioned on the left end of the table.
